Project Overview
Our project consists of a toolkit for supporting municipal wide emergency response; includes an offline dynamic map, web application and hazard analysis to identify at risk areas. These outputs were created to replace The Municipality of Clarington's outdated emergency response tools such as their web app and backup offline map. The contents of our toolkit not only replace Clarington's old tools, but they are also direct upgrades with more functions, higher efficiency and more useful information. This will allow the municipality to respond, plan and provide direction faster and more effectively during a municipal emergency such as a flood, chemical spill or even a train derailment!
